Review of Past Meeting Minutes
The Minutes of March 6, 2002 were reviewed and approved on a motion by Dan Driscoll and
seconded by Steve Meehan.
General Business
The Board discussed a request by the Reading Antiquarian Society to allow Drew Engelbrect, a
candidate for Eagle Scout, to transcribe 18th and 19'h century gravestones. Bob Keating explained the
law with regard to photos, the Board could allow it because it is not for commercial use. After lengthy
discussion the Board requested the scout appear before the Board.
The board also received a request from the Antiquarian Society to air a tour of the Laurel Hill
Cemetery filmed by Reading Cable TV. The Board requested that Mr. Alan Ulrich present the film to
the Board for viewing.
Bob Keating noted that an "As Built" drawing of Wood End awaits sign off by the Conservation
Committee. Bill Brown will walk with the Committee.
Bob will not have the same amount of seasonal help this year. He will get contract help, this saves the
Town money in benefits but costs us one extra person.
Receipts
Receipts are normal.
