Board of Cemetery Trustees`
Tuesday, May 25, 2004
Pursuant to a meeting legally posted, the meeting of May 25, 2004 convened at 6:00 P.M. in the
Berger Room, 16 Lowell Street, Reading Town Hall.
Present: Roc O'Connell, Vice Chairman
William Brown, Secretary
Daniel Driscoll
Steve Meehan
Janet B aronian
Absent: Mary Vincent, Chairman
Also Present: Robert Keating, Superintendent
Review of Past Meeting Minutes
The Minutes of March 9, 2004 were reviewed and approved.
General Business
- The Board voted not to grant a wavier on the size of a monument requested by Patricia Tassi
and sisters to be placed on the graves of their parents John and Mary Whalen in Forest Glen
Cemetery.
During the conversation with the Whalen relatives, Bob Keating stated the reason Reading
cemeteries are so well kept, is because Boards since the early 20's have maintained the
regulations.
The Board voted to offer Mr Sebeika to purchase his mothers grave site for $840.00, the
perpetual care cost.
The Board toured the four cemeteries and would like to thank Bob Keating and all the
employees for a job well done.

Receipts are down for the year.
Adjourn
The meeting adjourned at 7:30 P.M. The next scheduled meeting of the Trustees will be
Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at 6:00 P.M when the Board will tour the Cemeteries.
