Members present: George Theophanis, Phil Pacino and Dolores Carroll. Guests present: Town Manager Peter Hechenbleikner, and C.P.D.C. members Dick Howard and Filammia. Peter reviewed the warrant articles for the November 9th Subsequent Town Meeting with recommendations delayed until additional information becomes available. The following two articles prompted further discussion: Article 22: Concerns raised by George: coexistence of assisted living and nursing home patients; high unit density for property size; future use of building, if sold; and definition of "assisted living" and include same in the proposed amendment. Peter agreed to obtain the definition from the proper state agency. Article 23: AK Media has agreed to trade the two billboards on North Main Street and donate two acres of land in exchange for the Town's permission to erect a double-sided billboard on land leased from the Mobil Station on West Street. It was recommended that a definition of "billboard" be included in amendment, along with clarification as to proper lighting. The Committee decided to postpone recommendation until after CPDC meets with the Zoning Board of Appeals.
