7:00 p.m. Meeting called to order in the Lower Level Conference Room in Town Hall.
Members present: Phil Pacino, George Theophanis, and Dolores Carroll.
Minutes #267 were reviewed and on motion of George Theophanis, seconded by Dolores Carroll,
were accepted by a vote of 3-0-0.
A review of the three remaining articles for the November 10`'', 2003 Subsequent Town Meeting was
on the agenda with the following recommendations being made:
Article 14: Following discussion related to changes to the present article, the committee decided to
accept George's proposed changes which are as follows:
"Those members of standing multiple member bodies and those individuals in unpaid positions,
whether appointed or elected, named by the bylaw, shall be residents of the Town and shall only be
qualified to serve as such for the period in which they are residents of the Town unless specifically
accepted by Bylaw for purposes of utilizing expertise of non-residents. Any such member or
individual who no longer is a resident of the Town shall be deemed to have vacated his position.
Any member of a multiple-member body and any individual appointed to an unpaid position by the
Board of Selectmen or other appointing authority who intends to no longer be a resident of the Town
shall immediately notify the Town Clerk in writing of such change.
On motion of Phil Pacino, seconded by Dolores Carroll, the Committee voted to recommend
Article 14, as amended, by a vote of 3-0-0.
Article 15: On motion of Dolores Carroll, seconded by George Theophanis, the Committee voted to
recommend Article 15 by a vote of 3-0-0.
Article 16: On motion of George Theophanis, seconded by Dolores Carroll, the Committee voted to
recommend Article 16 by a vote of 3-0-0.
Article 18: On motion of George Theophanis, seconded by Dolores Carroll, the Committee voted to
recommend Article 18 by a vote of 3-0-0.
Minutes #267 were reviewed, and on motion of George Theophanis, seconded by Dolores Carroll,
the minutes were accepted by a vote of 3-0-0.
