Unanimously accepted. Winter Session Report: a. Classes: approximately 75% of budgeted capacity. This is probably a combination of the cold weather which started so early and the fact that people do not think to register during vacation. b. Pool Usage: Lap swimmers have seem a slight increase in numbers. This is typical for this time of year as people make New Year's resolutions. Open Family is slightly down., This is also usual because less people come out for open swim in the cold weather. When the numbers are looked at alone it looks as thought there is an increase in open swim on Saturdays. This is more a factor of the large number of swim meets which close the pool early so everyone comes at once to get in their swim time. Swim Vouchers: 52 have been redeemed so far. Winter: 15-members, 8-program members, Fall 2: 15-members, 14-program members. ACTION: Compare last year's numbers to this year's numbers to date. How many were distributed in 2002 and 2003. RMHS Boys: Currently have 28 on the team. 20 from Lynnfield and 8 from Reading, 10 are Girls and 18 are Boys. Current record is 5 wins and 2 losses and 1 meet cancelled due to a power outage. They have 3 meets to go. So far 3 girls and 2 boys have qualified for sectionals and state. Ken wanted to thank the BYB team for sharing space during Christmas vacation when N Suburban had to close. BYB Swim Team: We are currently in our championship season. Districts are the next two weekends (January 31, February 1, 7 & 8) everyone on the team has qualified for either an individual event or a relay. Go team! Austin Prep Swim Team: Has hosted their first meet here last Friday. They have two more meets to go.
