Non-Agenda Items:
Summer Registration: Is ongoing. A flyer was sent out to the school outlining
program openings. Below is a list of the programs that are closed. All other programs
have openings.
The Following programs are closed.
1. CIT
2. JR. CIT
3. Getting Ready for Middle School
Fields: The field assignment for the summer is complete. I'm awaiting summer
schedules.
The- youth sport group organization meeting with youth sport presidents is scheduled
for Wednesday, June (0, at 7:00 p.m. in the Town's Hall Conference Room. We will
- - discuss field scheduling issues as well as maintenance concerns. Any other issues the
group would like to bring up will be discussed at this time.
Summer Concert Schedule is all set. Please see enclosed. We still need coverage for
a few open days.
Rotary Road Race: There were 83 participants in this year's Rotary Fun Run. Last
year 102 runners participated. This decrease is a result of the weather for that day.
Boston Duck Tours: 19 Participants enjoyed a lovely day on the Boston Duck Tour.
Spring Golf: This is the last spring program. We have 8 students registered.
Adult Golf: This program began on Monday, June S. Courtney is very excited about
his numbers. We are still taking registrations for this upcoming session.
Summer Camp Open House: There will be a Summer Camp Open house at Coolidge
Middle School on Wednesday, June 28 from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. This is new for us. It
will give the parents and children an opportunity to meet their counselors, tour the
facility and go over the camp rules and regulations.
Reading Summerfest: This years Summerfest will be my 6 - 10th at the Birch
Meadow Field Complex. The scheduled times for this event will be from 6:00 - 10:00
p.m. Thursday - Saturday. Sunday, Noon until 10:00 p.m. The firework display will
be on July 8 - 10th.
