Dynamik Sports was put on the agenda to state their concerns about the miscommunication with the
T-shirt bid for the FY2000 season. Recreation Administrator Wayne Currie order the summer camp
T-shirts through Reading Trophy without lanowledge that Dynainik Sport had won the bid and
should have been the organization responsible for providing the T-shirts. Dynamik Sport was very
upset that Reading Trophy didn't mention to the Recreation Administrator that they were not the
award winners. Recreation Administrator Wayne Currie met with Dynainik Sport and Assistant
Town Manager Russell. Dean as soon as he realized the mix up.
For the FY2001 season Reading Trophy won the bid for the T-shirts and Dynamik Sports felt that
since they were overlook for the award that they won they should have given priority on the
FY2001 bid and should have been given the award. Recreation Administrator Wayne Currie agreed
that a mistake happen and will work with Dynamik Sport closely this season but two wrong doesn't
make a right.

Discussion was held on the Reading Memorial High School and Reading United Soccer
Organization request to place a kickboard on Collins Field. It was discussed that this request was
unreasonable and doesn't take the neighbors into consideration. The Recreation Committee feels
that the kickboard would cause too much noise in the neighborhood. It was discussed that the
Recreation Committee doesn't have to hold a public hearing for the request because they are against
the kickboard at Collins Field thus a public hearing is not necessary. The Recreation Committee
has fill jurisdiction on the fields and can decide what should or should not be on the fields.
