Chris, Adam, Mary Ellen, Nancy and Frank for helping out with the evaluation process.
Killam Field Master Plan
As
J. Feudo went over the specifics for the Killam Field Master plan. This plan was developed with
input from both the Principal of Killam. School and the President of Youth Baseball of Reading.
The plan basically calls to shift the ball field back approximately 20 feet closer to the parking area
with a new and improved backstop. The plan also calls for renovation of the current play structure
and the creation of new K-2 structure. Both of these areas along with the swing set area will have
an ADA path connecting them.
As part of the process the Recreation Committee will hold a public hearing for the master plan at
it's January meeting. As a side note, Youth Baseball of Reading has committed to purchasing the
new backstop once the plan is approved and implemented.
Administrator's Report
J. Feudo reported that the Halloween Parade was a great success. Thanks to the Reading Police
Department, Reading Fire Department, FORR, Town Pizza and IMAX for their support and
participation.
