Present were Chairman Jim Kiegley, Vice Chairman Carol Grimm, FinCom members Richard
McDonald, Chuck Robinson, Paul Kurker, Mary Grimmer, Neil Cohen, James Francis and
Katherine Martin. Also present were Town Manager Peter Hechenbleilmer, School Committee
member Peter Dahl, Owen MacDonald from the Chronicle, Director of Public Works Ted
McIntire, DPW Business Administrator David Lee, Town Engineer Joe Delaney, Cemetery
Board Vice Chairman John Silvaggi, Cemetery Board Chairman Dan Driscoll, Cemetery Board
member Bill Brown, Parks, Forestry and Cemetery Supervisor Bob Keating.
The DPW budgets were presented to the Finance Committee. The following questions were
raised:
What are the cemetery fees and how are they determined?
What is the number of street lights that we have turned back on?
What is the level of sewer reserves - $173,000.
What is the level of water reserves - $266,000.
On motion by McDonald seconded by Martin the Finance Committee adjourned at 9:50 p.m. by
a vote of 9-0-0.
