Grimm, Finance Committee members Catherine Martin, Richard McDonald, Paul -i Kurker, James Francis, Neil Cohen, Mary Grimmer, Charles Robinson and Town > Manager Peter Hechenbleikner. On a motion by Carol Grimm seconded by Dick McDonald the Finance Committee voted to reconsider Article 10, Authorizing Debt North Reading Substation for RMLD. The motion was approved by a vote of 9-0-0. On a motion by Catherine Martin seconded by James Francis the Finance Committee voted to approve Article 10, Authorizing Debt North Reading Substation for RMLD, as written. The motion was approved by a vote of 9-0-0. On a motion by Carol Grimm seconded by Paul Kurker the Finance Committee voted to approve Article 17, FY 2000 Budget for the Accounting Department, Line Al and A2 for a Total of $108,554. The motion was approved by a vote of 9-0-0. On a motion by Catherine Martin seconded by Mary Grimmer the Finance Committee voted to approve Article 17, FY 2000 Budget for the Community Development Department, Line B9 $228,941. and Line B10 $9,958. The motion was approved by a vote of 9-0-0. On a motion by Dick McDonald seconded by Neil Cohen the Finance Committee voted to approve Article 17, FY 2000 Budget for the Finance Department, Line C13 $432,703. and Line C14 $371,374. The motion was approved by a vote of 9-0-0. On a motion by James Francis seconded by Charles Robinson the Finance Committee voted to approve Article 17, FY 2000 Budget for the General Services Department, Line D14 $329,418. and Line D15 $323,720. The motion was approved by a vote of 9-0-0. On a motion by Neil Cohen seconded by Dick McDonald the Finance Committee voted to approve Article 17, FY 2000 Budget for the Human Services Department, Line E12 $324,465. and Line E13 $80,310. The motion was approved by a vote of 9-0-0. On a motion by Dick McDonald seconded by Mary Grimmer the Finance Committee voted to approve Article 17, FY 2000 Budget for the Public Safety Department, Line G1 - Line G8, for a Total of $5,667,151. The motion was approved by a vote of 9-0-0. On a motion by Carol Grimm seconded by James Francis the Finance Committee voted to approve Article 17, FY 2000 Budget for the Public Works Department, Line Hl 1 - H17 for a Total of $3,230,882. The motion was approve by a vote of 9-0-0. On a motion by Carol Grimm seconded by Mary Grimmer the Finance Committee voted to approve Article 17, FY 2000 Budget for the Building Maintenance Department, Line 11 - 14 for a New Total of $2,572,188. The motion was approved by a vote of 9-0-0. On a motion by Carol Grimm seconded by Dick McDonald the Finance Committee voted to approve Article 17, FY 2000 Budget for the School Department, Line J1 $22,338,160. and include Line J2 $153,000. for a New Total of $22,491,160. The motion was approved by a vote of 9-0-0. On a motion by Catherine Martin seconded by James Francis the Finance Committee voted to approve Article 17, FY 2000 Budget for the Debt Service & Capital, Line K1 - K48 for a Total of $4,358,539. The motion was approved by a vote of 9-0-0. On a motion by Carol Grimm seconded by Neil Cohen the Finance Committee voted to approve Article 17, FY 2000 Budget for Employee Benefits, Line L1 - L7 for a Total of $5,488,847. The motion was approved by a vote of 9-0-0. On a motion by Neil Cohen seconded by Dick McDonald the Finance Committee voted to approve Article 17, FY 2000 Budget for the Water Fund, Line Ml - M4 for a Total of $2,433,415. The motion was approved by a vote of 9-0-0. page 3 On a motion by Paul Kurker seconded by Neil Cohen the Finance Committee voted to approve Article 17, FY 2000 Budget for the Sewer Fund Line N1 - N4, for a Total of $3,468,119. The motion was approved by a vote of 9-0-0. On a motion by Carol Grimm seconded by Mary Grimmer the Finance Committee voted to approve Article 5 as presented to amend the Capital Improvement Program for the Library HVAC for up to $160,000. The motion was approved by a vote of 9-0-0. On a motion by Carol Grimm seconded by Charles Robinson the Finance Committee voted to recommend the net budget adjustments of $350,000. to the FY 1999 Budget. The motion was approved by a vote of 9-0-0. On a motion by Carol Grimm seconded by James Francis the Finance Committee voted to approve Article 7 as presented to authorize disposal of equipment and/or vehicles. The motion was approved by a vote of 9-0-0. On a motion by James Francis seconded by Catherine Martin the Finance Committee voted to approve Article 8, Approving FY 2000 - FY 2009 Capital Improvements Program, as stated in the warrant. The motion was approved by a vote of 9-0-0. On a motion by Carol Grimm seconded by Mary Grimmer the Finance Committee voted to approve Article 13, Re-authorize Compost Bin Revolving Fund, as stated in the warrant. The motion was approved by a vote of 9-0-0. On a motion by Carol Grimm seconded by Dick McDonald the Finance Committee voted to approve Article 14, as presented, to Re-authorize Neighborhood Improvements Revolving Fund. The motion was approved by a vote of 5-3-1. On a motion by Carol Grimm seconded by Neil Cohen the Finance Committee voted to approve Article 15 - Street Acceptances, as presented. The motion was approved by a vote of 9-0-0. On a motion by Carol Grimm seconded by Dick McDonald the Finance Committee voted to approve Article 16, Authorizing Debt - Walkers Brook Drive Sewer, as presented. The motion was approved by a vote of 9-0-0.
