Z00b FEB I G A II: 02 The meeting convened at 7:00 p.m. in the Reading Memorial High School Auditorium, 62 Oakland Road, Reading, Massachusetts. Present were Chairman Chuck Robinson, Finance Committee Members Paul Bolger, David Greenfield, Hal Torman, Michele Williams and George Hines, Assistant Town Manager Bob LeLacheur and Town Manager Peter Hechenbleikner. Article 12 - The Town Manager noted that we had received a check in the amount of $12,000 from the Maplewood Village Developer and we could, therefore, take action under Article 12. On motion by Torman seconded by Bober, the Finance Committee voted to recommend the subiect matter of Article 12 by a vote of 6-0-0. Article 5 - The Town Manager noted that in order to complete the MWRA water purchase, we would need an additional $105,256. This money is available in the water reserves. The remaining $3.2 million of the cost is available through previous debt authorization by Town Meeting. On motion by Williams seconded by Greenfield, the Finance Committee voted to recommend under Article 5 the sum of $105,256 be paid out of water reserves by a vote of 6-0-0. Article 3 - The Town Manager noted that in order to take action on Article 15 to acquire open space, the Capital Improvements Program will have to have $40,000 added to it. On motion by Torman seconded by Williams, the Finance Committee voted to recommend that project CD-P-001 in the amount of $40,000 be added to the FY2006 - FY2015 Capital Improvements Program. The motion was approved by a vote of 6-0-0. On motion by Torman seconded by Williams, the Finance Committee voted to adjourn their November 11, 2005 meeting at 7:15 p.m. by a vote of 6-0-0. es ectfully ubmitted, Secretary
