Voted the following persons for terms to expire on 6/30/82 to the Reading Arts Council: Linda Nordberg, Walter Begonis, Phyllis Evensen, Eleanor Mahoney, James Watts., Peter Green, Daniel Abbott, Andrew Jaffee, Carl Strube, Grace Palmer, Judith O'Hare* (replaces Margaret Peerless). Mr. Agnew informed Board that N. E. Telephone rates went up 8% as of 12/8/80. Acknowledged letter from The Artists Foundation regarding grant monies. Notice from Dept. of Revenue listing local aid funds and highway funds due Reading. Moved to renew common victualler's license for Capri Pizza, Servomation Corporation, Seaport Seafoods. Tabled bill from Donham & Sweeney for $3,358. Acknowledged letter from Chief Marchand regarding injuries of officers in his Dept. Board of Selectmen Minutes Record 1/5/81 Page 2 Letter from Betterly Risk Consultants regarding their fee for reviewing health insurance proposals. Letter from Judith O'Hare requesting to replace Margaret Pearless on the Reading Arts Counsel, with Barbara Philbrick as alternate, for the Creative Arts for Kids group. Set hearing date for Harrows application for the 19th. Discussed parking and parking restrictions (stickers) at the Depot. Moved to Executive Session on roll call vote to discuss personalities at 10:15 PM.
