Met with Chief Pratt, Treasurer and lease purchase company to discuss pumper. Met-with Lions Club members for kick-off of anntEi light bulb sale. Moved to grant license for one day all alcoholic beverages to Wakefield Skating Association. Moved to award contract for repair of Police Annex roof to Thomas K. Chaffee Company for $8912. Moved to pay the invoice from Donham & Sweeney for $2900. At the request of the Board of Assessor's the Board of Selectmen voted to accept the provisions of Chapter 416 and forward copies to the Commissioner of Revenue. Approved one day all alcoholic beverage license for Masonic Buildiing Association for October 11, 1980. Moved to pay $6063 per Law Committee instructions for Woburn Odor (July bill). Reported that Mr. Forbes, Mass. Cable TV Commission, stated term of contract must be same as in Provisional and that tapes are integral part of proposal. i Board of Selectmen - Minutes Record 9/29/80 Page 2 Board appointed the following citizens to serve on the Hazardous Waste Committee as the liaison subcommittee: E. Halpin, E. DiPillo, P. Valihura, S. Oston. Voted to erect No Parking signs between Woburn and Temple on Summer Avenue. Moved to Executive Session at 10 PM to discuss financial matters. r
