Voted to award bid for Fire Dept. pick-up truck with old truck as trade in to Bonnell Motors. Voted to move to executive session to discuss Woburn Odor. Board of Selectmen - Minutes Record 8/7/80 Mat with Gerald Hoyt to discuss his reappointment to Police Force. Selectmen Price moved to reinstate Gerald Hoyt to the Reading Police Force by August 24, 1980 or sooner, seconded by Selectmen Rosenthal, and so voted unanimously. Selectmen Price moved that Gerald Hoyt be reinstated on his reappointment at the rank of sergeant, seconded by Selectmen Rosenthal. Selectmen Price and Rosenthal voted yes. Mrs. O'Brien voted no. Voted to sign agreement with Mass. DPW to install a flashing warning light at N. Main Street at Cedar Glen. McNeil Associates to install amd maintain. Voted to appoint Joan Power as the Town of. Reading Dog Officer. Voted Dog Officer's starting salary at $9,00 per year, and that this be re- viewed in six months. Selectmen nominated all five candidates for the Position of Police Patrolman. Voted unanimously to appoint Francis DeVellis of 26 Grant St., in and Peter Garchinsky of 75 Beaver Road, Reading as patrolmen. Wilm gton
