Crotty, Jr. (Common Victualler's license). Mr. Cain (MEPA) update on Woburn odor. Moved to grant common victuallers license to John Crotty for White Hen Pantry. Discussed antenna site for Cable TV with Board of Assessors. Approved one day all alcoholic beverage license for Knights of Columbus for 9/5/80. Letter from Chief Marchand informing Board of his vacation from 7/7/80 to 7/18/80. Notice from. Mystic Valley Elder Home Care, Inc. informing Board they did not approve our proposal for funds for office renovation for the COA. Agreed to retain Drachman as labor legal advisor. Instructe Mr. Agnew to send letter to confirm. Letter from Chief Pratt informing Board of his vacation from 7/9/80 to 7/18/80. Approved request of Reading Pony League to hold fund drive on 7/11/80. Board requested they be informed that activity should b curtailed at 8 PM. Board of Selectmen - Minutes Record 7/7/80 Page 2 Moved to expend $5000 allocated by Town Meeting for Woburn Odor for payment against invoices of Tyler & Reynolds for charges incurred against Woburn Odor. Moved to purchase a Reading plaque and a book on Reading history from the Historial Commission for a Bluebird group traveling to Reading, Penna. to be presented there from us. Moved to appoint the following persons to the Industrial Development Commission: Daniel Ensminer, Charles Hewitt,, Edward McPartlin, Curt Nitzsche, Roc O'Connell, Donald Stroble, Philip Walcott. Moved on roll call vote to executive session at 10:40 PM to discuss matters that might involve litigation.
