To any of the Constables of Reading, Greetings: In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants. of the Town of Reading, qualified to vote in elections and Town affairs, to meet in the following place designated for the eight precincts in said Town, namely: _Precinct 9, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8A, 8B Hawkes Field House, 62 Oakland Road TUESDAY, the EIGHTH DAY OF NOVEMBER A.D., 1994 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. to cast their votes in the State Election for candidates for the following offices; FOR THE COMMONWEALTH (all precincts) U.S SENATOR SECRETARY GOVERNOR and LT. GOVERNOR TREASURER ATTORNEY GENERAL AUDITOR REPRESENTATIVE IN CONGRESS.......... REPRESENTATIVE IN GENERAL COURT COUNCILLOR SENATOR IN GENERAL COURT DISTRICT ATTORNEY CLERK OF COURTS REGISTER OF DEEDS COUNTY COMMISSIONER Congressional District, 6th & 7th 21st & 34th Middlesex 6th District, a9 precincts 3rd Middlesex District, all precincts Northern District, all precincts Middlesex County, all precincts Middlesex, Southern District, all precincts Middlesex County, all precincts Also to vote yes or no to the following questions: QUESTIONS #1 - Regulating Spending on Ballot Question Campaigns #2 - Seat Belt Law #3 - Changing the Law Regarding Student Fees #4 - Term Limits #5 - Opening of Retail Stores on Sunday Mornings and Certain Holidays #6 - Graduated Income Tax #7 - Personal Income Tax Changes #8 - State Highway Fund Changes #9 - Prohibiting Rent Control Sixth Middlesex Congressional District Seventli Middlesex Congressional District 21st Ifiddlesex Representative District 34th Alliddlesex Representative District Precincts I & 8B Precincts 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8A Precincts 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 8A & 8B Precincts 3 & 5 And you are directed to serve this Warrrant by posting an attested copy thereof in at least three (3) public places in each precinct of the town not less than seven (7) days prior to November 8, 1994, the date set for the election in said Warrant, and to publish this Warrant in a newspaper published in the town, seven (7) days prior to the time of holding said election. Hereof fail not and make due return of this Warrant with your doings thereon to the Town Clerk at or before the time appointed for said election. A true copy. The Warrant was partially read by the Town Clerk, Catherine A. Quimby, when on motion of Robert Soli, Warden, Precinct 3, it was voted to dispense with the. further reading of the Warrant, except the Constable's Return, which was then read by the Town Clerk. The ballot boxes were examined by the respective Wardens and each found to be empty and registered at 000.
