Present were Chairman Dan Ensminger, Vice Chairman George Hines, Secretary Sally Hoyt, Selectmen Eugene Nigro and Bill Burditt, Town Manager Peter Hechenbleikner. Hoyt moved and Nigro seconded that the Board recommend Article 8 to fund the School Building Committee in the amount of $25, 000. On motion by Burditt seconded by Hines an amendment was offered to reduce the amount of funding to zero. Burditt indicated that until we have an idea of where funding for the projects would come from it made no sense to fund the project. Hoyt pointed out that the project would be 66% reimbursable. Hines felt that the School Committee had had other funding sources that could be used for this project. On the amendment, the vote was 4-1-0 with Hoyt opposed. On the main motion as amended the vote was 4-1-0 with Hoyt opposed. Dan Ensminger will make the report for the Board of Selectmen. The Board discussed Article 21. Hines moved and Nigro seconded to support Article 21 as written subject to review by CPDC. This Article deals with vacating an easement on Benton Circle. The motion was not approved by a 2-3-0 vote with Hines and Nigro voting in favor of the Article. Article 22 was discussed. On motion by Nigro seconded by Hoyt the Board voted to support Article 22 by vote of 5-0-0. The Board agreed to meet at 6:45 p.m. in a room at Reading Memorial High School on Monday the 16th to review the Zoning Ar- ticles. They asked that Jonathan Edwards, Jonathan Barnes and the Biotech expert be present at that meeting. Respectfully submitted: -4k S creta
