Board of Selectmen continues Executive Session re: Acquisition of Real Estate
All other bodies adjourned and the Board of Selectmen stayed in Executive Session.
Camille Anthony updated the Board on the proposed swimming pool program whereby
Nelson Burbank would make a donation to the YMCA, with a donation in the amount of
approximately $500,000 from the Town, to establish a community pool. Issues that need
to be dealt with include legal issues, access, identification as a community pool and
strong representation on any board. The Town wouldnot be responsible for operating
costs, and the possibility of packaging a number of services at this site.

The YMCA will be requested to provide other examples of similar partnerships. The
Board asked to have Nelson Burbank come into an Executive Session to discuss the
matter further. The consensus of the Board was that they were supportive of this concept.
