HomeMy WebLinkAbout2002-04-16 Board of Selectmen Executive Session Minutes Board of Selectmen Meeting Executive Session - April 16, 2002 The meeting convened at 9:05 p.m. in the RCTV Studio, 224 Ash Street, Reading, Massachusetts. Present were Chairman George Hines, Vice Chairman Camille Anthony, Secretary Matthew Cummings, Selectmen Richard Schubert and Gail Wood and Town Manager Peter Hechenbleikner. On motion by Cummings seconded by Schubert, the Board of Selectmen voted to go into Executive Session for the purpose of discussion with respect to Labor Negotiations — Police, not to come back into Open Session. On a roll call vote, all five members voted in the affirmative. The Board discussed the negotiating position on the automatic electronic defibrillators and the Parking Enforcement Officer. On motion by Anthony seconded by Wood, the Board of Selectmen voted to offer compensation of$125.00 for use of the automatic electronic defibrillators. On a roll call vote, the Board of Selectmen voted: Yes—Camille Anthony Yes—Richard Schubert and Gail Wood No - George Hines and Matthew Cummings and the motion carried. The Board discussed the Parking Enforcement Officer. The Board decided to see what happened with regard to establishing the Revolving Fund at Town Meeting and to come back to the Union at that time and negotiate the matter. On motion by Cummings seconded by Schubert, the Board of Selectmen voted to adjourn their Executive Session meeting of April 16, 2002 at 9:35 p.m. on a roll call vote with all five members voting in the affirmative and the meeting was adjourned.
