The Reading Baseball Club made a presentation for the need for the scoreboard and why they wanted to have it designed the way it is. The Board discussed the location, the size and whether or not it should have advertising on it. Following much discussion, the Board agreed that this would be on their Agenda for August 18, 2009 at 8:45 p.m. (giving Selectman Camille Anthony time to get to the meeting). The Board indicated its inclination to move the Board into the centerfield, make the face of the scoreboard flush with the face of the fence, reduce the space between the top of the fence and the bottom of the scoreboard to between one and two feet. A catalog of scoreboards from the vendor being used is available on Eversan.com.
