To: Hechenbleikner, Peter; LeLacheur, Bob
Peter and Bob,
Today Bobbi Botticelli dropped off a $6,000 check to defray the cost of a 12 lead defibrillator monitor for the West Side Engine.
We were trying to purchase a reconditioned model and there were none available. So we moved ahead and purchased a new
model for $15,100. Prior to the purchase I had discussions with Bobbi and she had told me she had arranged with Hallmark
Health to contribute the $9,100 remainder. Today Bobbi told me she had contacted Hallmark Health and they told her they would
need to raise the funds.
Based upon that Bobbi said she wanted to put an add in the newspaper seeking the funds. I wanted you to know the background
if you saw the add.

The company has signed a five-year lease for space at 55 Walkers Brook Drive, near the Route 128 and I-93 corridors.
The building in which InfoMedics relocated is one of three in a 185,000-square-foot complex on 14 acres immediately

Re: Bancroft Avenue and Hartshorn Street - Multi Way Stop
The intersection a three way tee intersection with Bancroft Avenue running in a general North/South
direction and Hartshorn Street running in a general East/West direction. Hartshorn Street is located on
the Westerly side of the intersection and is currently under stop sign control. Both roadways are local
residential streets.
Based on a review of the warrants for multi way stop signs the following is known or can be reasonably
assumed for the intersection:
• The placement of the stop signs is not being used as an interim.measure while awaiting installation
of traffic control signals.
• While a complete review of crash data has not been performed, I do not believe that the
intersection has experienced 5 or more reported incidents in a twelve month period.
• A traffic count would be needed to determine if the traffic volumes and speed warrants are satisfied
however, it does not appear that the intersection would satisfy 300 vehicles per hour or meet the
85-th percentile sped of 40 MPH.
While a partial study is needed to determine if the some of the above warrants can be satisfied I would
recommended that a full engineering study of the intersection be performed to determine if other factors
exist that may determine the need for a multi stop placement.
