About the MTWFA Professional Development Series . The Professional Development Series (PDS) is a group of workshops being offered by the Massachusetts Tree Wardens' and Foresters' Association, in order to give our members access to professional presentations on relevant topics. Mandated by state law, the position of Tree Warden is subject to munici- pal funding constraints and is often filled by people who also have other job titles and responsibilities. A short information piece developed several years ago outlined the many respon- sibilities of being a Tree Warden. Come and get updated on the ins and outs of the Tree Wardens job, pre- sented by people like you who are on the front lines.
