Now they are in college she would like to give back to the community again. The arts are very important to her, she comes from a musical family. The arts are a passion of here and she saw an opening and would like to give back to the town in this capacity. She has spoken with Megan about the committee and the time commitments and what the committee does and it was very helpful. Heard about the opening on social media. William McCants— Conservation Commission —been in Reading for 5 years. His family enjoys exploring the town forest. They live next to Everette and Ginny Blodgett who are avid volunteers. He found the opening on the town website when looking for volunteer opportunities now that he has more time. He would suggest making the volunteer positions easier to find on the webshe; maybe a button right on the front page that takes you to all the opportunities. Chris Cridler—ZBA—Very familiar with ZBA process. He is an attorney and been through land use issues, so he is very familiar with the roles and regulations. He feels it is important to help the town keep to their bylaws/ ordinances. He enjoys the process and seeing creative ideas that people bring to the board. He is currently on the RCN Board but saw that ZBA had an opening and felt it was an appropriate use of his experience. Would prefer to be a full member if possible but will take either. Tony Rodolakis— Conservation Commission —heard of the opening through another volunteer of the town. Wetlands are an issue that is near and dear to him for a long time. Been in town for 8 years and would like to get a little more active in town. He has been looking for an opportunity that he could use his skills for and this seems like a great fit. He would like to start as an associate to get his feet wet and move up when he feels comfortable. McCarthy moved to recommend Liz Rogers to a full position on the Cultural Council with a term expiring June 30, 2026, William McCants to a full position on the Conservation Commission with a term expiring June 30, 2025, Chris Critter to a full position on the ZBA with a term expiring June 30, 2024 and Tony Rodolakis to an associate position on the Conservation Commission with a term expiring June 30, 2024.
