The Volunteer Appointment Subcommittee called to order at 1:30 pm
Interview Candidates for Volunteer Boards and Committees
Alicia Williams
Alicia Williams is a new applicant interested in the Recreation Committee. She stated that in the past she has
volunteered on the Special Education Parent Advisory Council, Gardening Club at Birch Meadow, and where
needed at the Coolidge Middle School. She has three school -age children, including one with special education
needs, and regularly uses Reading Recreation for several programs. She feels that she can offer a user's
perspective on the Recreation Committee, particularly on adaptive programs. She stated that she would not
mind an associate position.
Discuss Recommendations to the Select Board
Melissa Murphy and Karen Rose -Gillis agreed to recommend Ms. Williams for one of the Recreation
Committee associate vacancies.
Approve Prior Meeting Minutes
Minutes will be reviewed at the next meeting.
