Pursuant to a meeting legally posted, the meeting of March 9, 2026 convened at 6:00 P.M. in
person in the Berger Conference Room at Reading Town Hall.
Present: Virginia Blodgett, Chairman
Ron Storty Vice Chair
Carl McFadden
Brian Boyle
Absent: Caitlin Salmon, Secretary
Also Present: Michael Hannaford, Supervisor
Michael O'Halloran, Administration
Amelia Devin Freeman
Review of Past Meeting Minutes
Meeting was called to order at 6:04 pm by Virghila Blodgett.
The minutes of January 12, 2026 were reviewed and approved as written by a vote of 3-0, on a
motion by Carl McFadden, seconded by Ron Stortz.

Proposal for Gravestone Cleaning Workshop

Amelia Devin Freedman from the Historical Commission was in to discuss the possibility of
having a public gravestone cleaning education workshop at Laurel Hill.
After some discussion, the Boards main concerns are: liability, supervision, leaving out
`4epairs", and what product will be used.
On a motion by Carl McFadden and seconded by Brian Boyle, the Board voted to table the
discussion until the next meeting for more information by a vote of 4-0.
Update from Michael Hannaford
With the frozen ground and the snow, no new work has been done at Wood End.
Department policies are being updated and will be presented to the board at a future meeting.

No new business
Next Meeting Monday, May 4, 2026 at 6:00 pm.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:50 pm on a motion by Carl McFadden, and second by Brian
Boyle.
