Monday, January 12th, 2026 -
Pursuant to a meeting legally posted, the meeting of January 12th,.-2026. convened at`64P.M. in
person in the Berger Conference Room at Reading Town Hall.

Review of Past Meeting: Minutest

Meeting was called to order at 6:02 by Virginia Blodgett, seconded by Brian Boyle. a
The minutes of October 20th, 2025 were reviewed and approved as written by a vote of 3-0, on a
motion by Caitlin Salmon, seconded by Brian Boyle.
Discussion
• Update from Michael Hannaford
o With the frozen ground and the snow, no new mapping has been done
o Poles have been inserted to mark where headstones for new lots will be available
o Have been straightened out enough that lots can continue to be sold
■ Matching the computer to the actual number on the lot
■ Meetings will be set up in the next few days
Possible Proposal for Training of Residents for Gravestone Cleaning
o Restorations date back to 2014
■ Lots of time and money has been put into restoring headstones - Would it be
beneficial/helpful to train volunteers to clean stones?
o North Reading offered a training that Virginia went to
■ Information has been passed along to person who ran that to contact people
in Reading
o Worried about lack of training/care when cleaning stones
o It would be residents that would volunteer - so if something were to happen to the
stones where does the liability fall?
