After some discussion, the HOC determined that the project involved an interior door and is not within the HDC's purview. PD made a motion to issue a Certificate of Non -Applicability. EB seconded. The motion passed 5-0. 182 West Street The applicants seek approval of a new addition to the home. They are planning a two story addition, including a new deck and the installation of similar vinyl siding that already exists on the home. They also plan to install a metal roof over a new farmer's porch. The HDC and applicants discussed the project and the approval process going forward, which will include a public hearing due to the scope of the project. PD made a motion to schedule a public hearing for September 15th. EB seconded. A public hearing will be held on September 15th. The applicants agreed to provide updated plans prior to the hearing date. 186 Summer Avenue No updates. Massachusetts Proposed Legislation and Impact on HDCs No updates. Single Use Historic Districts The HDC discussed the feasibility of establishing historic districts for single properties. The HDC acknowledged that this could be a time-consuming and resource -intense process. VA will reach out to a local homeowner who may be interested in pursuing this further. Maps of Historic Homes/Districts ADF revealed an updated map of historic properties in town. Community Outreach No updates. Officers EB made a motion to nominate PD as Chair and ADF as Vice -Chair for another year. GM seconded. The motion passed 5-0. Future Agend2 Items EB suggested that the HDC add pictures of homes within the historic districts to the town website. PD made a motion to approve the meeting minutes from June and July. IB seconded. The June and July meeting minutes were approved by a vote of 5-0 PD moved to adjourn the meeting. IB seconded. Meeting adjourned after a 5-0 vote at 8:50 PM.
