This meeting was held in -person in the Conference Room of Town Hall and remotely via
Zoom.
Call to Order and Welcome
Chair Joe Carnahan called the meeting to order at 8:00 pm.

There was no comment from the public.

The Study Committee continued reviewing the draft report of their recommendations for
adoption of the Community Preservation Act (CPA) In Reading. Several minor content and
formatting corrections and revisions were made, and photos and photo credits were added
throughout the document.
On a motion by Martha Moore, seconded by Sandy Matathia, the Ad Hoc
Community Preservation Act Study Committee voted 5-0 to accept the CPA for
Reading Report as presented, subject to any additional photo credits and
corrections to typographical errors needed.
Discuss the contents of the report presentation to be delivered to the Select Board
The Study Committee reviewed the draft presentation prepared by Joe Carnahan. They
refined some language, added a summary slide, and assigned members to present the
various slides pertaining to the Boards/Committees they represent.

The Study Committee agreed to reschedule the meeting planned for January 26'h to
February 3r0. At that meeting, the Study Committee will run through and rehearse the
presentation they will give to the Select Board at their meeting on February 10�h.
Approve Prior Meeting Minutes: January 12, 2026
On a motion by Martha Moore, seconded by Sarah Brukilacchio, the Ad Hoc
Community Preservation Act Study Committee voted 5-0 to accept the minutes of
the January 12, 2026 meeting.
Roll call vote: Martha Moore - Yes, Sarah Brukilacchio - Yes, Sandy Matathia -
Yes, Margaret Donnelly -Moran - Yes, Joe Carnahan - Yes.
On a motion by Martha Moore, seconded by Sandy Matathia, the Ad Hoc
Community Preservation Act Study Committee voted 5-0 to adjourn at 9:45 pm.
