Monday, August 11, 2025
Pursuant to a meeting legally posted, the meeting of August 11, 2025 convened at 6:00 P.M. in
person in the Berger Room at Reading Town Hall.
Present: Virginia Blodgett, Chairman
Ron Stortz, Vice Chair
Brian Boyle
Carl McFadden
Absent: Caitlin Salmon, Secretary
Also Present: Michael Hannaford, Supervisor
Michael O'Halloran, Administration
John Keogh, Assistant Fire Chief
Meeting was called to order at 6:00pm by Ginny.
Review of Past Meeting Minutes
The minutes of June 9, 2025 were reviewed and approved as written by a
vote of 4-0, on a motion by Ron Stortz seconded by Carl McFadden.

Fire Department Memorial
• John Keogh was in to discuss the possibility of installing a Fire Fighters
Memorial in one of the cemeteries.
• He stated that they are in the beginning stages and wanted to check with the board
about their views on where to place and size etc.
• Possibility of a combo memorial with the Police Department.
• He will develop the plan further and go to the Town Manager and Select Board
for further discussions.
General Business
• First section of Wood End lots has been laid out.
• New lots won't be sold until things are updated on the computer.
• The lot posts for the Um Garden lots have been ordered.
• Trees at Wood End that were removed have been replaced.
• Laurel Hill will have curbing installed soon.
Next Meeting Monday, October 20, 2025 at 6:00.
