Meeting was held in -person and by video conference
Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM.
Review and Approval of Agenda
The agenda was reviewed and accepted as presented.
TOPICS OF DISCUSSION
• New Roles
Discussion of new committee roles
• Library Meeting
Reviewed the upcoming library meeting regarding planting.
• Missing Trees and Flags
Discussed the issue of missing trees and removal of flags.
• Invasive Plants Removal — Phase 5
Mike K. reported that Gagnon is ahead of schedule. Proposal to issue a change
order to add more area in Section 7 to the current bid. Discussion on which areas
to focus on first.
• Add GIS maps for the Town Forest to standardize nomenclature.

Phase 6: Areas 8, 9, and Wood End area.
Add knotweed to contract change order. Motion carried unanimously.
Bill motioned to exhaust the budget for Phase 5, adding to the current
phase. Seconded by Tim K. Motion carried unanimously.
• Website Updates
Updates to the website need to be made and sent to Chris Cole.
• New Signage
Received quote for new signs; discussed locations for three metal signs.
Discussion about selecting a sign style that fits with the natural environment.
• Enforcement of Updated By -Laws
Next steps for enforcement discussed.
Possible addition of a "dog log" for non -emergency dog issues.
• Safety Vests
Proposal to order blue safety vests (front and back).
Nancy D: Motion to use Town Forest funds to order safety vests up to $300.
Seconded by Christine. Motion carried unanimously.
• Friends/Family Event
Volunteers needed; sign-up will be sent out.
• Open Positions
Open positions for Town Forest Committee discussed.
• Approval of Previous Minutes
Review of minutes from April meeting.
Motion to approve by Brandy, seconded by Christine. Motion carried
unanimously.
• Next Meeting
Next meeting scheduled for June 23rd at 7:00 PM.
• Community Preservation Act Projects (for Martha Moore)
Email to include the following projects:
1. Toilets in Lot 5
2. Invasive species removal
3. Pollinator garden
4. Replanting
5. Lynn Village with boardwalk to Esker
6. Education program
• Town Forest and Golf Club Boundary
Discussion of the boundary between Town Forest and Golf Club.
