Approved unanimously Treasurer Report: Steve offered the following update: The MLK Day grant issues have been resolved and have been paid at this time. Everyone collected their grant money except ArtsWalk (event canceled) and the labyrinth walk (never submitted for reimbursement). These grants, combined with some events coming in under budget result In $1800 to be carried over to FY'25. FY'24 books can be closed at this point. Steve has been forwarding all reimbursements to Jayna for FY'25. To date three have been processed; more are pending. Community Reception Planning The flyer has been distributed via social media and through Town Manager Minutes. Steve has invited past recipients in addition to the FY'24 recipients. Liz will bring her computer as a backup for the sideshow; an HDMI port is needed for the setup at the Pleasant Street center and hers has that port. Steve has supplies (nametags, etc.) Liz will provide snacks —trays of cookies and small water bottles. Tablecloths, napkins as well. The Council will meet at 6:00 to set up the event. Agenda for May 2025 Meeting: The reception is the sole focus of May's meeting. Page I 1 Schedule Upcoming Meetings May 12 - 6:00 at Pleasant Street for the reception June 2 - 7:00 on Zoom (link already created) Misc: Wednesday night, April 9, the Reading Arts & Culture Action Plan is meeting at the library at 6PM. They will be presenting the results of their survey and hold a discussion about arts and culture development in Reading. Steve will try to go; others from RCC are welcome to attend as well. Steve will forward the invitation to the RCC members. It Is uncertain how involved RCC would be in the rollout of RACAP's findings. RCC does not meet in July and August.
