Chair Brian Bowe called the meeting to order at 7:02 pm. 1. Laura Gemme went over ticketing procedures and provided the ticketing booklets. All town bylaw and regulations. Following is the procedure 1. Record date of notice: When the violation was noticed. 2. Record name: only name is required. 3. Record the regulation: Article 97 of the state regulation. 4. Describe the act a. What did you witness b. Where and time 5. List the fine. 6. Stop here. The committee discussed that they can monitor "if you happen to be there" referring to dogs at Bare Meadow. Public Hearings 2. 0 Cedar Swamp (North Cedar Swampl Applicant asked for a continuation to the meeting on 2V October (10/2312024). Martha Moore moved to continue the discussion to the meeting on 230 October. Tony seconded. No violations to be discussed Discussion Items 4. Land Use Summit was cancelled, Martha to send out a poll to schedule some time in January 2025. 5. Maillet, Sommes & Morgan Rules Chuck shared rules, signs to be put. Brian suggests both rules and signs. 1. No skating: Keep off the ice 2. No swimming habitat restoration area 3. Carry in Carry Out. Dog waste bags all over the place, DPW said they were not going to provide trash barrels. This should be brought up. Some bottles might show up. Martha suggested putting in newspaper. 6. Conservation/DPW Monthly Meeting review November 5'h. 10. Administrators Report: Lot 5, 371 Grove Street Stairs DPW put it in. Shared pictures. Town forest committee should pitch in, trails has said no. 11. Minutes for approval: 8/2812024, 9/11/2024 Martha moved to approve minutes of 08/28 as amended. Tony seconded. Martha moved to approve minutes of 09111 not reviewed yet. Chuck informed the committee we have a contract with a firm to test the soil at Symonds way. Intend to be out there on October 23, results in early November for engineering department and select board and Chuck. Hopefully no problems.
