Kirwan gave acknowledgement from the TFC to B. Sullivan for his outstanding presentation to November Town Meeting and work on bringing three Articles from TFC to a successful vote. • Introduction of new member Brandy Hopkins. • Reviewed draft signage with new Bylaw in mind. Language discussed and debated. J. Lamson to draft new sign language and update the TF Rules for the next meeting. • Discussed bidding and schedule for Phase 4 dead tree removal. Work needs to be completed by the end of February. • Discussed Phase 5 invasive control. The primary focus will be along the access roads as shown in the Invasive Plant Management Plan. Permit applications will go first to Mass Wildlife Natural Heritage and then to Reading Conservation Commission for approval. Funding was approved at the November TM. • Discussed information to be included in the TF kiosks, such as points of interest. • Discussed an offer from a Reading resident of Foxglove Beardtongue seeds. Area 7 identified as a prime site. Resident will be contacted for guidance on best practice planting. Tree Warden Hannaford supports this planting. The Committee voted unanimously to accept the offer of seeds. • Dog waste signage and installation was discussed. • There is one open position remaining for an associate. • T. Kirwan raised issue for discussion of Art Installation projects in the forest. • The Committee voted unanimously to approve the minutes for the 10/15/24 meeting. • Next meeting was scheduled for 12/16/24.
