MINUTES OF THE READING RETIREMENT BOARD MEETING
EXECUTIVE SESSION
May 7, 2015 at 5:47 P.M.
Present at this executive session are the following individuals:
Francis P. Driscoll, Chairman
Joseph R. Veno
Nancy J. Heffernan
Sharon M. Angstrom
Michael Sacco, attorney for the Reading Retirement Board
Thomas A. Clough participated remotely due to geographical distance
The Retirement Board Administrator explained to the Board that she is being harassed by the Human Resources
Director of the 'town. The inappropriate manner in which the Human Resources Director interacts with the
Retirement Board Administrator is unprofessional and even threatening, which has made for a hostile working
environment. Although the behavior towards the Retirement Board Administrator has been ongoing since the HR
Director was hired, in the last few months it has become unbearable.
Joseph Vena moved to request that Attomey Michael Seem draft a letter regarding this issue and send to the
Town Manager requesting the hanssmem to stop and to point out the separation of the Board.
