Chair Martha Moore called the meeting to order at 7:08 pm. Hearings Scheduled: 1. 0 Small Lane Continue the Public Hearing on a Notice of Intent, filed by LLC, Meagan Johnson, Del Rey Realty, Pursuant to Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 131, Section 40 -the Wetlands Protection Act and/or the Reading Wetland protection By-law, Section 7.1, the applicant proposes the construction of a limited project stream crossing, retaining walls, wetland alteration, wetland replication, drainage, grading, and associated utilities. All work is within 100 feet of a Bordering Vegetated Wetland. The application and plans can be viewed on the Conservation Division page under the current project, Assessor's Map 40 & 41 Lot 153, 155 & 29 Dep File No. 270-0748 Aoglicant has requested a continuance until June 14, Additional Budget Reguest- Motion to Continue to June 10 by Brian Bowe; seconded by Bill McCants. Vote: Unanimous by role call vote 2. 2 Maple Street Continue the Public Hearing on a Notice of Intent, filed by John Sideropoulos, Pursuant to Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 131, Section 404he Wetlands Protection Act and/or the Reading Wetland protection By-law, Section 7. 1, for the Construction of a stone patio and placement of a utility shed, all of the work is within a Buffer Zones to a Border Vegetated Wetland. The application and plans can be viewed on the Conservation Division page under the Page 1 1 current project, Assessor's Map 16 Lot 111 Dep File No. 270-0769 Applicant has requested a continuance until June 14, Additional Budget Request - Motion to Continue to June 14'" by Brian Bowe; seconded by Bill McCants. Vote: Unanimous by role call vote 3.16 Beverly Road Continue the Public Hearing on a Notice of Intent, filed by Jeb Pittsinger, Pursuant to Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 131, Section 40 -the Wetlands Protection Act and/or the Reading Wetland protection By-law, Section 7.1, for installation of a single car garage with an accessory apartment, retaining wall, all of the work is within the 100 ft buffer zone to a bordering vegetated wetland. The application and plans can be viewed on the Conservation Division page under the current project, Assessor's Map 31 Lot 36 Dep File No. 270-??? Motion to Continue to June 10 by Brian Bowe; seconded by Bill McCants. Vote: Unanimous by role call vote 4. Meadow Brook Access Easement Vote- - No update. Will be pushed to next meeting. 5. Old/ New Business Violation Notices, yard waste and encroachment on Conservation Land, New; 26 Henzie St., 30 Henzie St., 34 Henzie St., 126 Hanscom Ave., Follow-ups; 30 Chequessett Rd., 25 Baker Rd., 22, 8, 14, Oakridge St., 38, 34 Bond St. -No new advancements with notices and follow ups. 50 Azalea Circle — 270-0790 has requested a one-year extension by Mr. Gosh. Site visit showed all updates not complete. Mr. Tirone has been in discussion. They have hired a company but they have had trouble getting there before the holiday but expect it to be done next week. The issues found included silt fences had collapsed in several places, gravel on street near storm drain, trash still in evidence around site. 6. Discussion Items a. Correspondence- None b. Regulation review & discussion, Section 3 D, McCants- Bill McCants led a discussion about the minor changes he'd like to see made to clarify parts of the regulations. In the end Ms. Moore made suggestion that members take time to read these more closely and wordsmith as necessary before next meeting. c. 60 Terrace Park Dog fence. Mr. Bowe gave an overview of a recent visit made by him, Ms. Moore and Mr. Tirone. The dog fence wire itself is not visible but the marker flags are still as much as 40 It onto town land. Also observed was a pile of pea stone over the stone wall onto town land near where some yard work was apparently done on the property. Further there are piles of brush and other yard waste over the wall as well. Mr. Tirone added that wee sent a letter a couple of months ago and did not receive a response. Mr. Bowe and/or Ms. Moore will contact Matt Kraunelis to get him involved in the matter to determine next steps. d. Lot 5 at intersection of Main St and Veterans Way — Jackie Welch described the proposed work. Homeowner wants to add patio and make paver patch towards back deck. This will be a minor mod to existing order of conditions. This work would be entirely outside 35 feet, is on already disturbed land. Motion by Mr. Bowe to authorize Mr. Tirone to make decision on this matter. Seconded by Mr. McCants Vote unanimous by role call vote. e. Discussion of plans for Friends and Family Day. f. Mr. Dribin asks for time at next meeting to update all on Symonds Way. 7. Administrators Report: None 8.
