Welcome to Members and Guests
Proposed changes to the schedule
• Ray proposed schedule change by shiflting to 1st and third Wednesday
• Avoids conflicts with MBTA meetings and holidays
RCAC Background
• Ray covered the background, formation, mission and goals, to Paul
Corin did not have additional items to report
Inviting Town Staff to the meeting
• Ray proposed inviting Andrew MacNichol to our meeting
• Goal of the meeting are to discuss the emissions mitigations as well as green energy
and localized energy generations (e.g., solar panels)
Report on MBTA
• Carolyn, Gena and Mark L were able to attend MBTA
• Learned that there is no path forward in being compliant with the State's
requirements without adjusting the zoning regulations
• Like to remove some green space, unfortunately, but people need housing
• The town did a wonderful job in their presentation to the residents

RCAC relationship with RMLD
• Paul inquired about our relationship and work with RMLD, including where the energy is
generated and how it is delivered to the residents
• Ray covered our engagement and suppor of electrification of municipal and residential
building
o Ray discussed our engagement with the Killam Schoold Building Commitee
• Ray suggested to have Greg (RMLD) give RCAC an update on their work after the
winter holidays
• Residential energy generations
o Paul discussed his energy generation and usage habits
o Has multiple solar panels and two electric vehicles
o Able to fully charge the vehicles
o Excess energy is generated and "sold back" to RMLD
Walkable and bikeable town
• Paul discussed biking and walking in our town, along with difficulties (e.g., limited or
non -existing bike lanes)
• Corrin echoed the desire to created a more walkable and bikeable downtown, along with
the benefits to people and local bussinesses
