Mark Dockser: The RFP is due to be issued in a few weeks for feasibility study consultant

selection. Perhaps by September 2023
4. Finance Working Group:
John Sasso to come up with a plan to review financial impact with Senior related
programs.
Five key areas are being researched
- Identify working group
- What do we need to know from other towns
- Review today's operating budget (looking back for previous year's budget)
- Divide up the review of funding resources
- Estimate the future need (Ops budget, capital)
5. Transportation: Explore transportation best practices for Seniors
John O'Neill - Does it expand beyond travel back -n -forth to Senior Center?
What are the transportation options?
Other towns. Andover is has something worth looking into.
Review of Tom Mottl's transportation plan.
Volunteer Program like TASC - Transportation Assistance for Seniors Citizens.
Contractor transportation or invest in technology to help manage pickups.
Mass Council on Aging - may have some good information transportation for seniors.
The intend is expand transportation beyond just transportation to -from Senior group.
Mass General has subsidized Uber/Lyft transportation Into Boston.
John O'Neill and Mark Dockser will be scheduling meeting with Mystic Valley Elder
Services.
6. Program Working Group: Nora Bucko
Nora met with Chris Kowaleski Director of PSC on current programs.
Space limitation, waiting area. However there are numerous programs available.
Limited evening programs have begun.
Investigate supplemental rental areas in town (church halls).
John Sasso can recommend space.
Volunteer coordinator position being posted next week.
Investigate an intern for helping with additional program.
7. Discussion on additional non -RECALL members helping in working groups
Looking for additional help with research and report back to a particular working group.
