Chair Richard Lopez called the meeting to order at 6:35PM and reviewed this evenings agenda. Overview of The Meeting Chair Member Richard Lopez begins the meeting by introducing the agenda and then calls the public hearing into motion at 6:3513M. On a motion by Richard Lopez and second by Kerry Dunnell Roll call: Kerry -Yes, Richard- Yes. Public Common[ There was no public comment. Hearing Discuss/Vote on Readina Comorehensive Tobacco Sales Reaulation The Board of Health members agreed that they have been over the Tobacco Regulations numerous times now and they have no more corrections. Richard Lopez makes a motion to approve the Tobacco Regulation Amendments. On a motion by Richard Lopez and seconded by Kerry Dunnell Roll Call: Kerry -Yes, Richard- Yes Hearing Discuss/Vote on Body Art Reaulation Richard Lopez introduces the next hearing topic and asks if anyone from the public has any comments or suggestions. Stephanie Anne Ward from 1 Charles Street states that she looked over the regulations and they seem fair to her. One comment Stephanie had was to change the training portion of having 10 clients you need to have worked on to 25 clients. Stephanie has worked in this industry and trained for three years. She believes having only 10 clients required for training is on the lower scale and typically towns request 25 clients. Page I 1 Kerry Dunnell and Richard Lopez welcome her feedback and agree that the number should be brought from 10 to 25. There was another correction made by the Board and that was made in section 23.11 -part c. "If a permit is issued in December, that fee shall be waived." Was the original sentence and we added more to make the sentence clearer, "If a permit is issued in December, that fee shall be waived until the end of that calendar year. A new applicant must be applied for January 1 for the next calendar year." Richard Lopez makes a motion to approve the Body Art Regulation Amendments. On a motion by Richard Lopez and seconded by Kerry Dunnell Roil call: Kerry -Yes, Richard- Yes. Adiourn Chair Richard Lopez made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:06PM.
