Topics of Discussion:
The meeting was held in person with remote participation available via Zoom. Recordings of the meeting can
be found:

Chair Wise called the meeting to order via roll call at approximately 7:59 a.m. Mr. Wise walked through the
agenda.
B. Public Comment
There was none.
B. Consent Agenda
Mr. Wise moved to approve the consent agenda. Ms. McLaughlin seconded. The motion carried 2-0.
E.1. New Business -Ad ourn to Executive Session
Mr. Wise moved to adjourn to an Executive Session to interview applicants for the appointment of the
legal counsel of the School Committee and to return at approximately 10:50 a.m. The motion was
seconded by Ms. McLaughlin. The motion was carried by roll call vote 2-0.
The meeting adjourned at 8:00 a.m. to Executive Session
E.2. New Business- Summarize Preliminary Round Candidates and Conduct Public Vote on Final Round
Leoal Counsel Firms
Mr. Wise called the session back to order at 10:58 a.m. He summarized that we concluded the interviews with
six law firms and the Subcommittee agreed to move three of those firms forward to the final round. Addifionally,
the current council will be brought into the final round as well. Mr. Wise outlined that the firms invited to the final
round will include:

(a) Norris, Murray & Peloquin, LLC
(b) Stoneman, Chandler & Miller
(c) Lyons Law Group, LLC
(d) Nudal, MacAvoy & Joyce, P.C.
Mr. Wise moved to bring the four firms to the final round interview process. Mr. McLaughlin seconded
the motion. The motion carried 2-0.
Mr. Wise moved to adjourn. Ms. McLaughlin seconded the motion. The motion carried 2-0.
