174 West Street. Windows and Trim
Mr. Przybycien, the owner of 174 West Street, presented the proposal:
• The house will be painted;
• There are necessary repairs to the wood before painting the house which will be
replaced in-kind;
• Vinyl siding will be installed on the garage;
• To avoid wear and tear, the existing wood windows on the garage to be replaced
with vinyl windows;
• The house and garage color will match; and
• The aluminum garage doors were previously approved by the HDC

of the garage but the windows being replaced are not easily seen.

built in 1923 but the garage was added later.

Pryzbycien responded the windows will be the same 6 over 6.
Mr. Blodgett cautioned that painting the vinyl a darker color could cause problems and
suggested some sort of protection.
Ms. Adams complimented the owner on the maintenance of the property and house.
The Commission discussed if the motion for the garage and house should be separated.
Mr. D'Orazio made a motion to approve the Certificate of Appropriateness for 174
