Chair Martha Moore called the meeting to order at 7:07 pm. Hearinas Scheduled: 0 Small Lane Assessor's Map 40 & 41 Lot 153,155 & 29 Dep File No. 270-0748 Move to continue at applicant's request to March 8 by Mr. Bowe, seconded by Mr. Sullivan Vote 5-0 50 Johanna Drive Assessor's Map 23 Lot 121 RCC File No. 2023-01 Continuation from previous meeting. Commission had asked for information about the total square footage of disturbed area in the riverine area. Mr. Fodera has provided an updated letter with that information. He then discussed the updated plans. There was a question about adding infiltration. Chair Moore polled the Commissioners about their ability to review the late arriving updated plans before the meeting. A majority had not had time yet so a motion was forwarded to continue to Feb 22n° by Mr. Sullivan, seconded by Mr. Saccone. Vote 5-0 52 Louanis Drive DEP File # 270- Assessor's Map 6 Lot 163 A site visit was arranged for noon on Feb 9th. Then voted to continue until Feb 22nd. Motion by Mr. Dribin, seconded Mr. Saccone Vote 5-0 Page 1 1 14 Forest St Assessor's Mao 39 Lot 16 RCC File No. 2023.04 Chair Moore gave summary of her site visit. Construction access will be by removing a section of fence to the right of the house as vieed from the street. Mr. Tirone asked about the proposed dry well and stated he wanted to review it before it is covered. That is a condition. Discussion of planting shrubs along the fence nearest the wetlands that are off property. Mr. Saccene suggested woody shrubs such as viburnum or clethra. Decided there will be 3 plantings. Size will be 5 gallon pots. Conditions include access and stockpile on side away from stream. Motion to Close the hearing made by Mr. Bowe, seconded by Mr. Saccone. Vote 5-0 Motion for Negative Determination made by Mr. Dribin, seconded by Mr. Sullivan Vote 5-0 Old/New Business: Extension of town wide water and sewer 270-351. Approved Discussion Items a. Correspondence -None b. MACC Environmental Conference — Mr. Tirone talked about the logistics of the upcoming conference and slate of course options. Members will let Mr. Tirone know their areas of interest. Strongly recommended c. 60 Terrace Park Dog fence letter— Letter concerning encroachment on Kurchain Woods. d. Draft budget discussion — Mr. Bowe discussed proposed list of possible budget items. All are encouraged to comment on these items or propose new ones. In the meeting other items such as furniture for Matters Cabin, No Dumping Signs which have been added to the proposed list. e. Minutes discussion — Discussion about the potential for the Conservation Commission to hire a part time asset to handle the transcription of the minutes. Mr. Tirone summarized his discussions are Town Hall. No final decision but looking optimistic. f. Enforcement-, 445 Pearl St. No new news g. Next DPW meeting Tuesday Mar 7 at 1 pm Ms. Moore and Mr. Bowe will try to attend. h. Mr. Dribin has asked for some time at an upcoming meeting to update the Commission on Status of Symonds Way Exploration Committee (SWEC) on which he represents the committee.
