Meeting minutes for 6/8/2022, 6/22/2022 and 7/27/2022 accepted as amended
Polystyrene Containers Draft Bylaw (Dave Zeek)
• Dave reviewed the presentation on the Bylaw
• Review included the wording of the bylaw, the justification, definition of terms and
enforcement.
• Gena suggested some organizational changes to the slide order
• Discussed the value of limited other single use plastics
• Discussed selling polystyrene containers directly consumers as it is not enforceable
by Health Department, opted to drop selling of containers from the Bylaw
• Discussed mobile food venders and the applicability to the Bylaw
• Public outreach meetings, before Select Board and public meeting possibly at Library
with a hybrid option for comments (Gena to talk with Fidel and Library)

• Ray to send dates to Dave for distribution to past committee members
• Location to be either the at Walt's deck or at Ray's house
Energy Survey Conveying Results
• Need to update graphs with new/additional survey data
• A short summary of the data should be prepared and posted on our or the Town's
website
• Presentation of the results should also be made to the Select Board
• RMLD has already seen and reacted to the preliminary results of the survey
New Residents Open House
• RCAC has been invited to host table on Oct. 18
• Discussion to be tabled to next meeting
Energy Stretch Code Update
• DOER planning to update Energy Stretch Code
• Propose talk with Fidel about who in Town needs to be informed
Support of RMLD Shed the Peak Messaging
• Propose to repost RMLD messaging
• Create a team of people who can respond
• Ask RMLD which periods are most important for public response
