School Program Green Team
• Grades 3 to 8 being targeted
Best to approach the schools from administrative side
• Thegreenteam.org is the website for the group
Greener Voc Tech School
• Letter to NEMT Building Committee to consider non -NG options
• Consider renewable or heat pump options.
• Travis and Genady to sign letter
• David to sign letter as the RCAC Chair
Combined Neat and Power (CNP)
• DOE had technical assistance program to evaluate designs
• More appropriate for sites that have a syn -gas source
• Less appropriate for the primary heating system using NG

Killiam School pre -design phase
• Fidel Maltez wants have us involved in the energy use requirements
• Fidel Maltez wants to have solar panels added to school roofs
• Need to have RMLD involved on solar related issues
Green Sense Article to be timed to Community Garden Opening
Town Friends and Family Day (June 11)
• Side by Side tables with Community Garden
Stretch Building Code Comments to DOER
• Written comments accepted until March 18
• Reading will be held to the existing stretch code, but not the Specialized Stretch
Codes
Town Energy Survey Assessment
• Dave now has 3 mail bins of surveys
• Genady needs to format the output in an Excel format
• Genady to explore options for scanning the first 1,000
Sustainability Director
• There is a line item in the budget for the Sustainability Director Position of
$17,000
• Looking to increase money availability position through a grant for about $50,000
• This might get us started and demonstrate value for a full time position
• ARPA funds committee has formed which could be solicited for 1 to 2 years of
funding
• Justification for the Sustainability Director should be facilitate with school energy
efficiency and roof solar projects, among other issues.
• Plan to meet MAPC representative to discuss grant application processes.
Community Garden Update
• March 24 - Application complete, informational session
• March 25 - Applications submissions open
• April 8 - Notice to gardeners
• Early May - Open Community Garden to the garden
