Review minutes, vote on acceptance
Meeting minutes for 4/27/2022 and 5/11/2022 were reviewed and accepted as amended.
Maillet Conservation Stormwater Management
• Existing conditions - Blocked culvert, local flooding
• Open space improvements - Drainage treatment and storage
• Invasive species removal and management
• Funding - $100K for design documents, request for early construction funding
• Flood plain for 2070 10 year storm
• Box culvert blockage under META rail line
• Increased on-site storage
• Vector potential? Stored water drains in between weather events
• Funding though State earmarks, MVP funding and Reading matching funds
• Expecting a 2 year construction plan
• O&M plan to describe future maintenance

Friends and Family Day
• Travis has working heat pump that can be plugged in
• Travis prepared charts or graphs that can be printed for display
• Celeste suggested kid activity for moving air from one spot to another
• Dave to prepare handout in support of Sustainability Manager
Polystyrene Containers Draft Bylaw (Dave leek)
• Bylaws for polystyrene and single use items presented as separate items
Coolidge Middle School Social Studies - Climate Actions (Rebecca Mandell)
• Dave, Walt and Ray provided comments to the student proposals
New Members Needed
• Jeff to end member role effective June 1
• Opening for new member, Travis to consider position
Summer Social Gathering
• Ray to send out a survey of possible dates
• Walt to offer his deck as a location in August
