Plans for a 9/22 public mtg on Energy Reduction.
• • Julie and Megan described their ideas for a public meeting on Reading's Energy
Reduction Plan to be held Sep. 22 in conjunction with our RCAC mtg on the same
date.
• • The meeting will be remote using Zoom Webinar. We will include online polls to
collect feedback but not use breakout rooms since we are mostly presenting a
proposal and not soliciting raw inputs.
• • The goal for our Green Community application requires a 20% reduction in 5 years
as measured by utility and fuel Inputs for the town buildings, vehicles, streetlights,
etc. including for the schools.
• Noresco will talk about performance contracting.
• Provide case studies on what other communities have successfully done. Focus on
our peer communities that are Green Communities.
