Sustainability Plan Overview
• Preview of the information to be presented to the Select Board
• Addresses issues related to Climate mitigation and adaptation
• Based on previous reports prepared by the RCAC
• Answered questions from Bob Holmes
RCAC Wordpress Website
• Peter and Celeste "met" to review the status of the website
• Generally it needs lots of updating
• A structure needs to be discussed that meets the needs of our "customers"
• Transportation and Buildings could be an issue
• Gas leaks and heat maps are also an issue
• Need to create linkage between the Town Website and Facebook postings
• Recommendation for changing the domain name to something shorter
• Dynamic header that scrolls can make multiple topic appear

Handout for New Residents
• Updated half -page handout that was used a couple of years ago.
• Made more generic about past events without actual dates
• Items to consider:
o Solar choice with RMLD (see 2n^ side)
o Road diet with MA DOT
o Gas leaks with Select Board
o Coordinate with Sustainability Plan with Select Board
o Charging stations in new parking plan
• Edits to be sent to Patti for printing
Gas Leak Report
• Report has been submitted, but has not been distributed more broadly.
• What actions the committee accepts needs to be discussed
• There are already a lot of gas line repairs happening around Town.
513 Main Street Project
• Role for CAC to Interact with project to Improve sustainability
• Recommend using electric service instead of gas.
• Promote interacting with RMLD for electrical service
• Financing options for environmental benefits on new construction
Promote the Stretch Code at the Town Meeting
• Sept 8 is the deadline for approval of warrant articles approved.
• Sponsorship of the warrant article through the Select Board
• Voting of article at Town Meeting.
• Needs to apply to renovations and additions.
• Travis and Denise to get basic metria.
