RCAC Wordpress Website
• Generally it needs lots of updating, information is missing (climate science)

• Links to the Google Drive which connect to the Green Sense Articles do not work,
requiring Google access
• Could post the articles as a blog post.

Town of Reading - Meeting Minutes
• Provide a link to Greta Thunberg
• Share the Brainstorm Google Documents with the whole Committee may be
problematic with the Open Meeting Law with respect to editing permissions.
• Transportation and Buildings could be an issue
• Getting a more user friendly domain name, which may require a redirect from a
host site to the Committee website
• Some part of the site could be used to archive information
• RMLD is implementing its own Sustainability Plan.
• Discussed renaming website to a more concise title
Promote the Stretch Code at the Town Meeting
• Could not confirm that stretch code would not impact housing costs.
• Some benefits and credits can be obtained to offset the cost of energy efficiency
investments. Energy savings related to the stretch code would have a pay back
period of less than 1 year.
• Resources are confusing, with outdated documents.
513 Main Street Project
• Dave talked with Karen about next steps.
• Possible attend the Community Planning and Development Commission when the
developers discuss the project.
• RMLD is also talking with developers about electrical features (EV charging
stations).
