Select Board could call for a special Town Meeting in February and have a ballot question added to the regular April vote date. There is not going to be a perfect location with parking. Need to focus on transportation versus just parking. There is an unsolicited proposal to sell the existing PSC but keep the parking space. RCN is currently leasing space and may be looking for a space and PSC may be a good solution. Special funding to support a new Center, did not included in the State bill. Not easy to get a debt exclusion passed. It's been difficult in the past. New Killam School and new Community Center are both needed for the community. It's not an either-or situation. Agenda #4 Communications Update Mark Dockser. One of things we need to continue to communicate the recommendations coming out of ReCalc. We have the current newsletter, but we need more. What other mediums could be used to continue with getting the word out? Agenda #5 Items/Assignments Needing Follow -Up December 6, 2022 we will have UMASS survey and there will be a joint presentation by ReCalc, COA and UMASS to the Select Board. Review the preliminary data from UMASS readout in advance. Agenda #6 Next Meeting Date Target November 30"' with potential to review the UMASS full readout. Potential joint meeting with COA.
