3) Pinevale Update
Next step did 150 feet of boardwalk at Pinevale
They also spread gravel in the parking area
We will do an open house in the fall to showcase the work
4) Birch Meadow Area Discussion
We will consider future work in the birch meadow area and the connection through Higgins
to grove at Lowell. This would be part of a continuous loop connecting Reading conservation
areas.
There was discussion about who owns the properties and a town sewer easement in that
area. Chuck Tirone will ask for a GIS map of the area for feasibility discussions
5) Fall Walk
Will plan for a walk in October. Tim will bring it up at Town Forest Committee. Possibly Oct
15 or 22. Ben Ream will coordinate.
6) Kiosk/Sign Update
Old signs have been removed by scouts. Painting of existing signs has not been done yet
Ray will do "you are here" arrows for kiosks
Kathy will do QR code for Alltrails and Gala GPS
7) Conservation Update
Chuck Tirone reported that Conservation expressed concerns about the Eagle Project that
Trails and Town Forest approved, that it may have been a repair instead of a replacement.
They approved it but they wanted to communicate their hesitation.
Veterans Way is being paved. The timeline for that trail easement is unknown
A Trails committee member accidentally did some trail work on private property and the
property owner was upset. We will be careful about private property in the future.
8) Priority List for Future Projects
Kathy has compiled a list of priority projects for outside groups that volunteer

Meeting Minutes
Chuck would like to have a separate list for desired Eagle Scout Projects that contains larger
projects such as the bridge at Lenetta Lane
Specific projects were discussed such as the area behind REI and a bridge between
Woodland st and the ball field. The committee will compile and prioritize a master list at a
future meeting
Kathy advocated for publishing a master trail plan for the town, similar to the town wide
trail loop that Lexington has.
9) Other Business

is as needed.
9.)Adjoumed at 8:35. Unanimously approved
