Topics of Discussion:
B. Weiden opens the meeting at 7:02pm
G. Fiorente gives an update on Reading Softball Little League temporary fence
issue. She states that the fence was taken down at the end of June and that they
were made aware of the process moving forward. A. Binda replies that it would be
good to write down everything one last time so they are very clear of the process.
E. Gaffen makes a motion to accept the meeting minutes. B. Weiden seconds.
Discussion on an edit from Reading LL not Reading Softball LL on page 3. Meeting
minutes pass with amendment with roll call vote of 7-0.
Discussion takes place about Chair. B. Weiden states he is interested in being chair.
E. Gaffen says he is also happy to be chair or vice -chair.
R. Hand makes a motion for B. Weiden to be Recreation Committee Chair. E. Gaffen
Seconds. Roll Call vote takes place. All in favor 7-0.
M. Coltman makes a motion to nominate E. Gaffen as vice -chair. A. Binda seconds.
Roll call vote takes place. All in favor 7-0.
G. Fiorente gives an update on the playground Capital Project at the Bancroft Ave.
Tot Lot and on the ARPA funding meetings that have taken place in regard to
funding for the Birch Meadow Master Plan.

K. Kaminer asks about the timeline for the new Recreation Administrator. G.
Fiorente states they hope to have a new Recreation Administrator within the next
month or two.
E. Gaffen makes a motion to adjourn at 7:28pm. C. Robinson seconds. Roll call to
adjourn 7-0.
